Join us for a San Bernardino Airport update and learn how to do business with the Airport!

Formed in 1992, the San Bernardino International Airport Authority (SBIAA) is an regional joint powers authority created by and through State Legislation to serve as the owner, developer, and operator of the aeronautical portions of the former Norton Air Force Base, now known as the San Bernardino International Airport.

The SBIAA Oversees a U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part-139 Certified Public Airport.

The Authority envisions SBD as a major economic engine and a vital resource for our local communities, bringing in jobs, tourists, travelers, businesses, and recognition for our beautifully designed, carefully planned and state-of-the-art airport facilities. To that end, the Authority's efforts are focused on strengthening our community and region by:

  • Promoting aviation activities and business opportunities
  • Improving the infrastructure, landscape, and aesthetics of the airport
  • Promoting the safe and efficient movement of people and goods throughout the Southern California region
